 | Jason Anaya, a local Pleasanton, CA resident first discovered his passion for photography while attending Amador Valley High School where he spent many hours photographing local music and sport events. Upon graduating from high school in 2001, he was accepted at Brooks Institute of Photography, a world leader in visual arts education. While studying Photography and Digital Imaging at the Institute Jason acquired a passion for photojournalistic portraiture. Jason's artistic style captures the emotion and spirit of his clients, which is clearly evident in all his commercial portraiture. Prior to his graduation Jason received his first magazine publication in Alliance Wakeboard Magazine.
Jason, an avid traveler photographs his travels in a fine art approach. In addition to his studio work and on location assignments Jason shares his passion and knowledge of Photography and Digital Imaging with his community by teaching at Las Positas College in Livermore, CA. To further his experience and passion for photography he has undergone rigorous certification testing where his worked was critiqued and judged prior to receiving his PPA Certification by the Professional Photographers of America.
Jason has had numerous publications in Alliance Wakeboarding Magazine, Wakeboard Magazine, and WaterSki Magazine, gatorboards.com, fullycommitted.com, 8fp.com.
